"The University of Houston-Victoria is an upper-level institution that offers more than 50 bachelor's and master's degree programs and concentrations in the arts and sciences, business administration, education and human development, and nursing fields. Today, UHV is transitioning to a four-year university of choice that offers quality, accredited, face-to-face and online programs to students in the Gulf Coast region and beyond. The first freshman and sophomores will start taking classes on the Victoria campus in the fall of 2010. UHV has provided an opportunity for students to complete their degrees for more than 35 years."
